The Shoreham Society organises many events each year. They include ‘town hall’ style meetings on major plans and developments that could impact Shoreham, regular talks on local campaigns, topical issues and Shoreham’s history, and social events for members, friends and guests. Everyone is welcome.

Shoreham Airport is an astounding invention! Four guided tours telling the story of the UK’s oldest airport through the historic airport buildings and the Shoreham Airport Collection of memorabilia, documents and photographs.

In the Shoreham-by-Sea Gadget Trail venues across Shoreham-by-Sea will be displaying ‘curious’ gadgets in their windows. Participants will have been able to ‘Guess the Gadget’ on social media in the preceding weeks.

An illustrated talk by Dr Geoff Mead looks at the development of Shoreham Beach during the early 20th century, focusing on the inventive use of railway carriages in housing that became known as Bungalow Town, home of the early British Film Industry.
