How to recycle as if our planet depends on it!

Are you confused by plastic recycling: Which plastics can be recycled and where should they go? It is now possible to recycle all the different types of plastic, if they are properly sorted and put in the right place; meaning none has to go into your general waste bin. Waste is something that affects us all and frustrates many of us. It is often confusing and there are many mixed messages about what happens to the materials we try to recycle.
Gigi Backshall-Wilkinson will be joined by Julie Silverson from West Sussex Waste Prevention Team to talk about how to reduce waste and to clarify what can be recycled by the council. We aim to inform you about how to ‘Reduce, Re-use and Recycle’ and to offer an insight into what happens to some of the recycling once it is no longer useful to you!
It may be an evening about rubbish, but hopefully not a rubbish evening!
