Shoreham-by-Sea is holding a Summer Festival on Saturday 14th August. The Shoreham Independent Traders Collective and saydesignUK are putting on the event with help from The Ropetackle Arts Centre and Adur & Worthing Council.

From the railway station to the Ferry Bridge, Shoreham will be packed with street entertainment, arts and crafts, food and drink from the cafés, bars and market stalls.

In the Morning …

Starting at 10am, Over the Moon, Transition Town Shoreham and Adur Repair Café will be running fun activities on Coronation Green.

The Shoreham Farmers Market will be back in East Street from 10am until 2pm.

The Bands & the Buskers

Three music stages from 12pm to 3pm:

  • In East Street, The Ropetackle Arts Centre Stage, featuring Alfonso the Magnificent, Bessie’s Jazz Duo and Three Penny Piece
  • The Shoreham Allstars, a collective of talented and young musicians, on Brunswick Road
  • And buskers every hour, on the hour, at the Ferry Bridge Stage from 12pm to 4pm

And Prizes to Win …

There’s £500 worth of prizes to won in the Raffle – all donated by the Shoreham Traders. Buy tickets from any of their town centre stores or at the stall on East Street.

Bring your own hat, or make one on the day at the Adur Woodcraft Folk Hat Making Station by the Ropetackle Arts Centre Stage. There’s going to be a fabulous prize for the ‘Best Hat of the Day’!
