On 27 January 2026 a planning application was submitted to convert the existing St Mary de Haura Church Hall building on the corner of East Street and New Road into a new church/community hall and parish office with 5 houses and 2 flats.

Event Date:
Mar 20 at 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Our talk on Friday 20 March will be devoted to a presentation of the plans and a discussion about them to help inform and share views about this development. We are delighted that Gill Robertson, who is leading the project on behalf of St Mary de Haura, and Marcus Farrell, a Director at Woodmans, the developer for the project, will be there to give an update on the vision for the scheme and a progress update.

The planning application reference on the Adur & Worthing Planning Public Access system is AWDM/0082/26. But you can download a copy of the overall Design and Access Statement from here.
