This year's Annual General Meeting of the Shoreham Society will include the election of a new Chair and a new Secretary, a proposal about new members' fees and local author, Martin Allen as guest speaker.

This AGM marks a significant step change in the Shoreham Society as it celebrates its 40th anniversary with a change of leadership, a revamped Journal and new Quarterly publications, and a much needed update to membership funding.
After the formal AGM business, Martin Allen, chairman of Ropetackle Arts Centre and retired lawyer, will talk about his recently published historical novel, Love and War, based upon his parents’ wartime experiences.
