Becky Allinson, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and the Economy and Deputy Leader of Adur District Council will explore how neighbourhoods can play a stronger role in responding to long-term change.

Event Date:
Sep 18 at 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Over the next twenty years Shoreham (and Adur) will experience significant change. An ageing population, housing pressures, climate change, artificial intelligence and major changes to local government will all shape the future of our town. But these are not separate issues, they are interconnected, and they raise an important question: who gets to shape the future of a place like Shoreham?

Drawing on research into systems thinking, place-based governance and community stewardship, the talk will invite discussion about how local knowledge and community participation can help build a more resilient and successful Shoreham.
